هذا agrees in gender and number with the noun it modifies: use هذا for masculine singular, هذه for feminine singular, هذان/هاتان for dual, and هؤلاء for plural. In Russian, the equivalent demonstrative (этот, эта, это, эти) must also agree with the noun's gender and number.
