в indicates either static location (answered by где? where?) or motion toward a destination (answered by куда? where to?). Turkish marks this distinction through different case endings: locative (-de, -da, -te, -ta) for being in a place, and accusative/directional markers (-e, -a, -ye, -ya) for movement into or toward a place. Be careful not to confuse в with на (on), which takes different Turkish equivalents.
