Bu, uzaklık açısından yakınlık ifade eder ve belirtilen nesneye doğrudan işaret eder. Detaylı (este, esta, estos, estas) veya tarafsız (esto) kullanım, cinsiyete ve sayıya göre değişir. Eski İspanyolcada aqueste gibi formlar da bulunsa da modern İspanyolcada este tercih edilir.
